Key Accounts Assistant Manager

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Key Accounts Assistant Manager to drive sales, negotiation and order facilitation for assigned store‑level customers. The role focuses on executing the Customer Business Plan, closing performance gaps and identifying growth opportunities within the modern trade channel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Customer Business Plan and implement corrective actions for short‑term performance gaps.
• Sell and negotiate within parameters set by NKAM/KAM, managing pricing, order placement, delivery and related administration.
• Own end‑to‑end claims management, ensuring forecasting, accrual, validation, dispute resolution and timely customer payments.
• Monitor Perfect Store execution through data analysis and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute promotional and non‑promotional activities, managing trade spend, terms, rebates and budget alignment.
• Analyse profit pools, review CCD building blocks and update the annual plan through monthly promo grid reviews.

Required profile

• Proven negotiation track record at a customer‑facing management level.
• Experience across multiple categories and innovations (e.g., BPC, HC, F&R).
• Ability to work across business teams and balance multiple priorities.
• Experience with Othaim and the pharmacy business is preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience with Riyadh’s modern trade customers.
