Kitchen and Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen and Laundry Technician is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Neom, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry appliances.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and plumbing faults and replace defective parts.
• Carry out routine preventive‑maintenance checks and document all service activities.
• Coordinate with facility teams, supervisors and engineers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Follow technical manuals, safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols.
• Respond to urgent breakdowns, support equipment upgrades and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required profile

• Practical experience with commercial kitchen and laundry equipment installation, maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems related to appliances.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals and equipment specifications.
• Familiarity with safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and work‑order systems.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Neom, adapt to changing operational needs and participate in shift or on‑call rotations.
