Kitchen Equipment Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our hospitality team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all commercial kitchen appliances by performing maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and carry out preventive maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, and servicing of kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical faults in ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, grills, and other appliances.
• Assist with the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment, ensuring safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards, including electrical and fire safety protocols.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory, request replacements, and keep tools available for timely repairs.
• Document service logs, repair records, and preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialised repairs or equipment upgrades.
• Provide basic training to kitchen staff on proper equipment use and care.

Required profile

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to urgent issues.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting of kitchen appliances.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, fryers, grills, and related commercial equipment.
• Installation, calibration, and testing of new kitchen machinery.
• Inventory management for spare parts and tools.
