KYC Associate Analyst

About the role

Corpay is seeking a KYC Associate Analyst to join its Alpha Group division in Malta. This permanent position is part of the Cross Borders line of business and focuses on mitigating AML and financial crime risk through thorough due diligence and KYC checks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC onboarding reviews, ensuring compliance with procedural, policy and regulatory requirements within SLA.
• Escalate high‑risk factors (PEPs, state‑owned entities, adverse media, sanctions) to senior analysts and the second‑line compliance team.
• Provide KYC guidance to client‑service and front‑office teams.
• Analyse complex investment structures and a variety of client types, including corporate entities, trusts, funds and SPVs.
• Maintain high quality standards, adhere to policies and continuously improve performance with the Line Manager.
• Master compliance platforms, screening tools and systems to streamline workflow.
• Respond promptly to queries from business units.

Required profile

• Interest in compliance, KYC and AML regulations.
• 1‑2 years of AML/KYC experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all organisational levels.
• Pro‑active mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral English.
