L2 DevOps Engineer

About the role

CoorB is looking for an L2 DevOps Engineer in Riyadh to support the stability, availability and performance of enterprise banking platforms. The role covers operational support, environment management, automation and incident resolution across non-production and production environments, working closely with Application Support, Development, QA, Security and Infrastructure teams in highly regulated banking settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 DevOps operational support for banking applications across development, testing, UAT and production environments.
• Monitor system health, infrastructure and application performance, and resolve issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environment, deployment, pipeline and infrastructure issues beyond L1 capability.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts and platform configurations.
• Manage and support containerized and cloud-based environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS).
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and help deliver permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams on deployments, hotfixes and configuration changes.
• Ensure systems meet security, compliance and regulatory requirements for KSA banking clients.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Take part in on-call or incident response activities when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Support role.
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability and strict SLAs.
• Solid understanding of ITIL-based operations, incident and problem management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.

• CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• OpenShift.
