L3 System Administrator

About the role

SAT Microsystems is seeking a full‑time L3 System Administrator to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on advanced administration of Windows servers, Azure Virtual Desktop, and core infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2016‑2022) across multiple sites.
• Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Horizon VDI solutions.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange on‑premises, Microsoft 365, and Intune.
• Manage VMware ESXi infrastructure, including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Oversee Azure cloud resources, ensuring cost‑effectiveness, security, and scalability.
• Maintain Active Directory Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, FTP/SFTP, and WDS services.
• Create, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy objects to enforce security standards.
• Perform backup, recovery, patching, and system upgrade activities.
• Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2016‑2022).
• Hands‑on expertise in Azure services, especially Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Proven knowledge of VMware ESXi and hyper‑converged infrastructures (e.g., Nutanix, VxRail, Azure Stack).
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and related security components.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex incidents and guide junior support staff.
