Landscape Architect – Riyadh

About the role

AECOM is seeking an innovative and detail‑oriented Landscape Architect to join its Riyadh office. You will create compelling outdoor spaces that blend aesthetic vision with functional performance, while addressing the unique arid conditions of Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse site topography, soil, climate and existing vegetation to inform design decisions.
• Develop comprehensive landscape master plans and design concepts aligned with client objectives.
• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction documents using CAD software.
• Select appropriate plant species, hardscape materials and water‑efficient irrigation systems.
• Create 3D visualisations and renderings to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and other professionals to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that construction follows design intent.
• Incorporate sustainable landscaping practices and assess environmental impact.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables while maintaining quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong creative vision combined with technical expertise in landscape architecture.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of arid‑climate conditions and water‑conservation standards.
• Commitment to sustainable design and staying current with industry trends.
