About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven and technically strong Lead Account Manager to grow Honeywell’s Catalyst, Adsorbents and Specialty Products portfolio within the UOP Process Technology Refining & Petrochemical business in Saudi Arabia. The role owns full account responsibility for key refining, petrochemical and gas‑processing customers, driving revenue growth and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with regional and global growth targets.
  • Drive revenue, margin and market‑share growth for catalyst and adsorbent product lines, including reload cycles, performance upgrades and new unit opportunities.
  • Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with operations, technical, procurement and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify, qualify and mature opportunities using a long‑cycle, value‑based sales approach, especially in turnaround and project‑driven environments.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract structuring while ensuring profitability and risk compliance.
  • Maintain accurate 12‑18‑month sales forecasts and pipeline visibility in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Collaborate with technical services, R&D and engineering teams to position differentiated solutions.
  • Engage licensors, EPC contractors and consultants to influence specifications and secure early project positioning.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and pricing trends.
  • Support working‑capital management, including payment terms, collections and contract compliance.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred); advanced degree a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development or technical‑commercial roles within refining, petrochemical or gas‑processing industries.
  • Proven track record in catalyst, adsorbents and specialty chemicals sales.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high‑value accounts and multi‑stakeholder sales processes.
  • Commercial acumen with pricing strategy and contract negotiation expertise.

Required skills

  • Salesforce (SFDC) for forecasting and pipeline management.
