Lead Aircraft Instructor – Airframe, Powerplant & Avionics

About the role

Riyadh Air is seeking a Lead Instructor to design and deliver high‑quality technical training for aircraft technicians and licensed engineers. The role focuses on airframe, powerplant and avionics disciplines, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Identify capability gaps using maintenance data, safety reports, OEM guidance and regulatory requirements.
• Develop structured, measurable learning programmes, lesson plans, practical exercises and assessment materials aligned with GACA standards.
• Deliver classroom and hands‑on training, administer assessments and verify competence of technicians.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure all content is audit‑ready.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to continuously improve training effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with a minimum of 9 years of experience in a similar technical training role.
• Expertise in Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and hold a GACA/EASA/ICAO Type II A&P certification.
• Preferably type‑rated on B787 and/or A320 family aircraft.
