Lead Estimator - Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

kbr is looking for a Lead Estimator for major Oil and Gas and Pipeline projects. The role leads the preparation of classified estimates during project development, manages estimate plans and guides estimators on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage estimate plans and lead the preparation of classified estimates during project development stages.
• Use the WBS process to develop the estimate cost breakdown structure.
• Prepare and review the cost estimate basis, including productivity factors, all-in rates, materials and construction costs.
• Lead and coordinate with project teams to develop all requirements needed for the TIC Estimate.
• Review, validate and present cost estimate reports to management and clients.
• Mentor estimators and ensure estimating best practices are followed.

Required profile

• 10 to 20 years of experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction of major Oil and Gas/Pipeline projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Nationality: any, with a preference for Saudi nationality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage) and familiarity with SAEP-25.
• Proficiency with MS Office packages, especially Word and Excel.
