Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to join our award‑winning team at the Jeddah office. The role ensures project delivery aligns with client requirements by developing and maintaining master schedules, procurement and logistics plans, and coordinating with consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the planning manager and project leader to develop procurement strategy, sequencing, phasing and logistics.
• Prepare and maintain the project master schedule, monitor contractor construction schedules, submittals, material deliveries and procurement logs.
• Collect and analyse performance data, including installed quantities, labour hours, cost compilation, earned‑value and productivity metrics.
• Identify scope changes, estimate cost and schedule impacts and communicate them to the client and project management.
• Review and approve contractor work programme submissions and ensure compliance with QA/QC work‑order procedures.
• Prepare, implement and report on project KPIs appropriate to each development stage.
• Maintain and report project metrics received from consultants, contractors and document control.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within construction or engineering projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera and Microsoft Project.
