Lead Quality Engineer – Test Automation & AI

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 12‑15 years of experience to drive advanced quality practices for enterprise software. The role is office‑based, day‑shift, with no travel, and focuses on test automation and intelligent validation using AI‑assisted tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, Cucumber and TestNG.
• Oversee functional integration and regression testing cycles, providing clear visibility into product quality and release readiness.
• Configure and govern AI code‑assist tools to accelerate script development, reduce errors and improve maintainability.
• Apply context‑engineering techniques to create intelligent test suites that mirror real‑world business flows.
• Develop reusable API testing components with RestAssured and implement behavior‑driven tests with Cucumber.
• Optimize TestNG configurations for parallel execution and reliable reporting.
• Monitor automation stability, refine object identification, and update test data strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify acceptance criteria and enhance test coverage.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
• Strong background in the telecom domain.
