Lead Statutory Reporting

About the role

Riyadh Air is seeking a technically strong accounting professional to lead the preparation and delivery of IFRS‑compliant statutory financial statements across all reporting cycles. The role will ensure accurate recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of complex transactions while supporting the airline’s high‑quality finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, half‑year and annual statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Provide technical oversight for fixed assets, project accounting, lease accounting, expected credit loss modelling and other complex transactions.
• Coordinate with finance teams, operating units, auditors and group reporting stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of submissions.
• Lead technical accounting analyses, maintain robust documentation and produce high‑quality audit schedules, reconciliations and position papers.
• Monitor IFRS developments, assess impact on reporting and advise stakeholders on technical accounting matters.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, control and reporting quality.

Required profile

• University degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting or external audit.
• Professional accounting qualification (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Proven experience preparing IFRS‑compliant statutory statements and supporting consolidation and intercompany processes in a regulated or multi‑entity environment.
• Confidence working with auditors and senior stakeholders and a proactive attitude toward process improvement.
