About the role
The Learning and Development Specialist will design, deliver, and manage training programs for airport professionals, ensuring alignment with business objectives and aviation regulatory requirements. This role supports continuous improvement of learning quality and compliance with GACA standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars covering technical, operational, and management topics.
- Develop training outlines, instructional methods, and training aids such as handbooks, multimedia materials, and computer tutorials.
- Lead the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) process across all departments and maintain the annual training plan.
- Track enrolment, completion rates, and compliance for mandatory and developmental training, escalating gaps as needed.
- Generate and maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, and implement quality‑assurance improvements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in delivering and facilitating training programs within an aviation or regulated environment.
- Ability to conduct Training Needs Analysis and manage comprehensive training plans.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and GACA standards.
- Excellent record‑keeping and reporting skills to support compliance audits.
- Effective communication and coaching abilities for both group and individual learners.
