Legal Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant to join the legal department of a leading organization in Riyadh. The role focuses on litigation, statutory advice, contract auditing, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws to protect the organization’s legal interests.

Key responsibilities

• Represent commercial entities and litigate before various levels of courts and judicial authorities.
• Draft legal memoranda, statements of claim, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide statutory and legal consultations to executive management and help develop procedural legal plans.
• Audit, draft and review commercial and government contracts and agreements to ensure legal soundness.
• Manage internal investigations, track ongoing legal cases and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Conduct legal audits of internal procedures to ensure strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (Master’s in Public Law highly preferred).
• At least 5 years of cumulative experience in law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, reliability and composure in sensitive professional environments.

Required skills

• Legal drafting, analysis and advanced legal research.
• Litigation, negotiation and dispute‑resolution capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Legal Tech and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in the legal field.
