Legal Counsel – Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel – Associate to provide legal advice and support to the Aluminum division. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will handle contract review, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and advise on business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements and legal documents.
• Develop and implement legal strategy and business plans to achieve objectives.
• Formulate and communicate legal policies and procedures across Ma’aden to ensure compliance.
• Provide regular and ad‑hoc legal consultation and advisory services.
• Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date on relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (MBA preferred) from a reputable university.
• Minimum 6 years of corporate legal experience, including at least 2 years at Legal Counsel Associate level.
• Strategic thinking and advanced analytical skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and client service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
