Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join our legal department and provide comprehensive legal support across commercial, corporate and regulatory matters. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, advising business units and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian law.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and amend commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on contractual, corporate and day‑to‑day business issues.
• Support corporate structuring, restructuring, entity establishment and related transactions.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to applicable laws.
• Conduct legal research and produce clear, commercially‑oriented legal opinions.
• Manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain accurate legal records, corporate documents and contract files.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Legal Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited university.
• Minimum three years of post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial contracts, corporate matters and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid license to practice law in Saudi Arabia (advantage).
• Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree (advantage).
