Legal Counsel – Riyadh (Saudi National)

About the role

Our client, a large Saudi conglomerate, is seeking a Legal Counsel to be based in Riyadh. The role provides strategic legal support across the organisation, advising senior stakeholders, managing complex legal matters and ensuring robust legal governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex legal issues affecting the business.
• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts, corporate documents and other agreements.
• Identify legal risks, advise on practical solutions and support strategic business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements and internal risk‑management frameworks.
• Collaborate with leadership teams and internal functions to strengthen legal processes and governance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of legal experience, with a focus on commercial contracts and corporate matters.
• Demonstrated experience supporting large, diversified organisations or conglomerates.
• Deep understanding of Saudi regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks and risk management.
• Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders independently.
• Saudi nationality, in line with local Saudisation policies.
