Legal Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to lead our corporate and commercial legal function in Riyadh. The role provides strategic legal advice to senior management and ensures full compliance with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert counsel on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal documents.
• Identify, analyse, and mitigate legal risks across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain internal governance policies to ensure compliance.
• Manage litigation, disputes, and regulatory proceedings, coordinating external counsel as needed.
• Advise on corporate governance standards and monitor legislative changes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support all business activities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer (LLB, JD or equivalent) from a reputable university.
• Significant post‑qualification experience, preferably in a leading law firm or large in‑house legal department.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabian corporate and commercial law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, commercial‑focused problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage diverse workloads and meet tight deadlines.
• High professional ethics, integrity and discretion.
