Life Support Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Life Support Instructor to deliver BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP training for our healthcare staff. The role involves planning, conducting, and evaluating both basic and advanced life support programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training for all LSTC programs and maintain required licensure.
• Develop curriculum, agendas, reference materials, slides, and evaluation tools for basic and advanced courses.
• Administer written and performance assessments, issue certificates, and provide remediation as needed.
• Organize and conduct mock code simulations (BLS/ACLS/NRP) for facility staff, including documentation.
• Support infection‑control policies, equipment cleaning, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Manage inventory of training equipment and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare classrooms and skill labs, align schedules with staff rosters, and maintain documentation in the SHA portal.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend departmental meetings, and contribute to outreach and external training programs.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD from a recognized medical school or Registered Nurse with BSc/MSc in Nursing, holding appropriate country registration.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP or related life‑support courses.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from AHA and SHA.
