Litigation Supervisor

About the role
The Litigation Supervisor will lead ZATCA’s litigation strategy, manage complex cases and represent the authority before judicial bodies. Working with minimal direction, the role ensures effective handling of objections, legal research and coordination across divisions.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize litigation cases from the objections team based on predefined criteria.
- Research and analyse relevant laws, regulations and policies for each case.
- Collect documentation, coordinate with internal sectors and arrange meetings to identify infringements.
- Draft statements of claim, counter‑statements, warning letters and other legal responses.
- Assist in representing ZATCA in court hearings, committees and governmental authorities, ensuring all supporting documents are prepared.
- Prepare settlement proposals for negotiations with employees and external parties.
- Archive judgments and maintain a repository of legal outcomes.
- Identify and engage external legal experts for specialized non‑tax litigation matters.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (required); Master’s degree in Law (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation or regulatory environments.
- Advanced competency in research and analysis, litigation, and broad taxation awareness.
- Proficient in collaboration, communication, professionalism and results orientation.
