Local Content Specialist

About the role

The Local Content Specialist will support the implementation and monitoring of local content activities across large‑scale government and semi‑government projects delivered through joint‑venture structures. The role ensures compliance with LCGPA regulations and project‑specific localization targets by coordinating with JV partners, internal teams, contractors and the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Local Content requirements across JV entities and track localization targets and commitments.
• Maintain records of Local Content responsibilities for the company and JV partners and assist the Local Content Manager with coordination and follow‑up.
• Collect, validate and consolidate Local Content data, prepare performance reports and submissions for management and stakeholders.
• Monitor Local Content KPIs, identify gaps or compliance issues and support audit and certification documentation.
• Monitor local supplier, workforce, material and service participation against approved targets and identify opportunities to increase Saudi sourcing and workforce participation.
• Assist in tracking supplier development, localization initiatives and knowledge‑transfer activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in local content, procurement or related functions within large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi local content regulations such as LCGPA, Etimad and IKTVA.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with JV partners and internal stakeholders.
