Logistics and Transport Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Transport Manager to lead supply chain and transportation operations for major infrastructure projects. The role ensures the efficient flow of materials and equipment across multiple sites, supporting project schedules and organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with project timelines.
• Prepare and manage transportation and logistics budgets, identifying cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Monitor performance using KPIs such as on‑time delivery, fleet utilization and logistics costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, project management and site teams to guarantee uninterrupted material availability.
• Lead demand forecasting, logistics planning and fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, maintenance scheduling and driver performance.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage customs clearance, warehouse layout, inventory accuracy, stock reconciliation and cycle counting.
• Implement and maintain WMS, TMS and ERP logistics modules.
• Prepare periodic reports on operational performance, costs and transportation efficiency.
• Oversee last‑mile deliveries to remote project sites and handle emergency logistics requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop logistics, warehouse and transportation teams while ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of logistics experience, preferably in contracting or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM or CLTD are a distinct advantage.
