Logistics Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support one of our giga projects in Riyadh. The role ensures that site deliveries and material movements align with the construction sequence, avoiding congestion and disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the delivery‑booking process, coordinating supplier arrival times, gate requirements, off‑loading zones and responsible receivers.
• Maintain schedules for deliveries, cranes, hoists, forklifts, lay‑down areas, waste removal and site access.
• Confirm permits, vehicle details, driver induction, lifting plans, traffic controls and unloading resources before arrival.
• Coordinate daily logistics through look‑ahead meetings and communicate approved plans to all parties.
• Track deliveries, missed slots, waiting time, demurrage, rejected loads and material movement status.
• Update logistics drawings, route plans, compound layouts, signage requirements and constraint registers.
• Escalate capacity conflicts, road closures, plant breakdowns or storage shortages and propose alternatives.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports and keep accurate, auditable booking and movement records.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain, construction management or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of construction logistics experience on a large, active site.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with scheduling or booking systems.
• AutoCAD or plan‑markup capability.
• Knowledge of traffic management, lifting interfaces, material handling and site access control.
