Logistics Team Leader – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Logistics Team Leader will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, accurate inventory control, and timely order delivery. This position works closely with planners, sales, and commercial teams to maintain high service standards while supporting Arla Foods' culture and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on operational tasks, report issues promptly, and adapt to daily assignments.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs for inbound/outbound processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Prepare and execute the daily operational plan within agreed parameters.
• Oversee inventory handling, stock control, storage, and distribution.
• Maintain strong internal and external customer relationships.
• Coordinate with planners, sales, and commercial operations for on‑time deliveries.
• Prepare delivery documentation (route plans, invoices, RTV, etc.) and manage driver communications.
• Uphold Arla’s safety, quality, food‑safety, and sustainability standards.
• Maintain warehouse equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
• Drive digital transformation by using data for decision‑making.
• Develop team competencies through coaching and leadership.

Required profile

• Education in logistics, warehousing or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience handling goods, preferably food products.
• Basic understanding of warehouse machinery, equipment and fleet maintenance.
• Intermediate English proficiency and IT skills.
• Experience with SAP (EWM, ERP ECC, BW Report, RFUI) and Microsoft Office applications.
