Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests and assets of the hotel in Riyadh. Working full‑time on site, you will patrol the premises, monitor security systems and respond swiftly to any incidents or emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and control access to rooms and entrances.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire‑life‑safety systems continuously.
• Conduct daily physical‑hazard inspections and lock entrances when required.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and call for external assistance as needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, shift summaries and loss‑prevention activity logs.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support guests, including those with disabilities, and ensure a professional appearance at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Strong physical fitness and the capacity to react quickly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Commitment to follow company policies, safety procedures and confidentiality requirements.
