Machine Operator – Extrusion Production

About the role

The Machine Operator will work on an extrusion line, ensuring products meet quality standards and the production line runs smoothly. You will support the Quality Inspector, handle raw materials, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Quality Inspector to guarantee finished‑goods specifications are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line during shifts and at month‑end.
• Accurately complete and submit daily production reports.
• Set up machines correctly and perform size changeovers as required.
• Handle raw materials – receiving, returning, and transferring to/from the warehouse.
• Notify the Lead Operator and Line Setter promptly of any machine issues.
• Store finished‑goods pallets, waste bins, and raw materials in designated areas.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines and participate in HSE toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in the extrusion field.
• Good physical condition to work in hot and demanding environments.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of extrusion and printing processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
