Maintenance and Automation Lead

About the role

The Maintenance & Automation Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance and automation activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational continuity, and efficient execution of maintenance plans. This role supports day‑to‑day maintenance operations, monitors automation systems, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities, coordinate team workload, and monitor task execution against plans and schedules.
• Support operational activities, ensure adherence to procedures, and assist in resolving operational issues and escalations.
• Monitor work quality, report deviations, and support compliance with defined standards.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance execution to enhance equipment reliability and asset performance.
• Identify equipment performance gaps and support actions to improve asset availability.
• Monitor and support automation systems, controls, and production‑related technologies, troubleshooting issues that affect continuity.
• Coordinate automation system improvements, upgrades, and optimization activities.
• Assist in maintenance planning, scheduled shutdown coordination, and resource deployment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating workload.
• Strong understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance processes.
• Ability to monitor automation systems and support troubleshooting.
• Experience in planning and executing scheduled shutdowns and maintenance projects.
• Good communication skills to facilitate coordination between team members and management.
