Maintenance Engineer – Transformer Manufacturing

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure the reliable operation of transformer manufacturing equipment and plant utilities in Dammam. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to minimise production downtime while complying with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot winding, core cutting, drying, oil processing and testing equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintain plant utilities such as HVAC, compressors, electrical distribution and other facility systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability).
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance records via CMMS/ERP.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, LOTO and electrical safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience, preferably in transformer manufacturing.
• Proficiency in English.
