Maintenance & Engineering Technician

About the role

The Maintenance & Engineering Technician supports PepsiCo’s manufacturing operations by executing electrical, controls, and engineering work orders safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively. The role ensures high line availability and equipment readiness while adhering to PepsiCo’s maintenance methodology and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned electrical and controls maintenance tasks and engineering related work within defined time frames.
• Achieve line availability targets and maintain equipment readiness.
• Follow and review the PepsiCo Maintenance Methodology (PEMM) improvement plan throughout the year.
• Execute maintenance schedules and implement AIB standards.
• Update SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) work order statuses.
• Identify root‑cause analysis (RCA) for major and recurring problems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and EHS management system requirements.
• Respond to technical issues in the assigned area and coordinate required actions and parts.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrical and controls maintenance.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and maintenance plans.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
