Maintenance Junior Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Maintenance Technician to provide hands‑on support to oilfield operations. The role focuses on assisting with ESP start‑up, monitoring, basic troubleshooting and reporting while adhering to contractual and QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems, VSDs and control panels.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Support the installation of electrical components such as motors, switches and circuit breakers.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Document work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments on projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
• 0‑1 year of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
