Maintenance Junior Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Maintenance Technician to provide hands‑on support to oilfield operations, focusing on ESP start‑up, monitoring and basic troubleshooting while complying with contractual and QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in wiring, testing and troubleshooting electrical systems, variable speed drives (VSD) and control panels.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Support the installation of electrical components such as motors, switches and circuit breakers.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Use hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Document work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments on projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
• 0‑1 year of experience in a maintenance environment.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
