About the role

The Manager – Integrated Data, AI & Platforms leads the design, development, and governance of enterprise control platforms, ensuring security, financial, and operational guardrails are met. This role bridges high‑level architecture with hands‑on implementation to deliver a seamless, compliant, and automated experience for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Policy‑as‑Code frameworks to automate compliance and security across cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Develop centralized control mechanisms for resource provisioning, access management, and FinOps cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Platform Architecture to translate blueprints into scalable solutions and integrate with the Internal Developer Platform.
• Build self‑service automated workflows and maintain IaC libraries (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation) with embedded security controls.
• Define availability, DR, backup, and resilience standards; govern RTO, RPO, and uptime for mission‑critical systems.
• Mentor junior specialists, conduct technical reviews, and promote a Security‑by‑Design culture.
• Control vendor, cloud, and third‑party access, enforcing guardrails and financial governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in platform governance, cloud security, and FinOps.
• Strong background in infrastructure automation and IaC practices.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Experience supporting 24×7 operations in industrial or mining environments.
