About the role
The Manager – Legal Contracts Management will lead the end‑to‑end contract lifecycle for KSIADC, ensuring that all contracts are drafted, reviewed, negotiated and closed in line with legal, regulatory and organisational standards. The role also oversees procurement planning and supplier relationship management to support efficient service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies, guidelines and standard model forms for contracts across KSIADC.
- Draft, review and standardise contract templates, ensuring alignment with legal, operational and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to internal functions by assisting in contract drafting and ensuring compliance with legislation and strategic objectives.
- Review and finalise contracts, identify issues, and ensure adherence to legal guidelines.
- Monitor ongoing contracts, manage compliance during execution, and address any emerging issues.
- Offer legal counsel on contract matters, propose solutions to ambiguities and challenges.
- Assess contractual risks, develop mitigation plans and follow up on corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contract modifications.
- Track and document all contract amendments, including changes to schedule, budget and scope.
- Manage contract closure processes, including final reviews and reconciliation of deliverables.
- Develop procurement planning guidelines and tools to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services.
- Maintain a comprehensive procurement plan aligned with organisational objectives and budget constraints.
- Oversee supplier selection and evaluation to meet operational needs and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance of contracts and purchase orders with internal policies, legal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve procurement delays and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Follow established policies, processes and SOPs to ensure controlled and consistent work.
- Support junior team members, solve escalated problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
