Manager, Transportation Finance

About the role

Lucid is seeking a seasoned Transportation Finance Manager to lead cost planning, variance analysis, budgeting, and inventory valuation for freight and tariff activities. The role works closely with logistics, procurement, and supply‑chain teams to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence across inbound and outbound transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain inventory, freight and duty cost data for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with logistics and procurement to ensure door‑to‑door freight costs are accurate and optimized.
• Analyze cost deviations, support corrective actions, and track cost variances.
• Assist in long‑term planning, annual budgets and rolling forecasts, collecting inputs from logistics and supply‑chain functions.
• Provide landed‑cost estimates for new product development and validate cost targets against benchmarks.
• Produce regular freight and tariff reports, dashboards and cost‑trend analyses for senior leadership.
• Maintain cost data integrity in SAP CO, set up networks and routings for new products, and perform periodic master‑data audits.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in product costing or plant finance, preferably in automotive or EV manufacturing.
• Strong background in inventory, inbound and outbound freight cost management.
• Relevant qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence cost‑saving initiatives.
