Manager/Associate Director – Accounting Advisory (Financial Services)

About the role

Uniqus is seeking a Manager or Associate Director to lead its Accounting Advisory practice for financial services clients in Riyadh. The role focuses on delivering high‑impact advisory on complex IFRS matters, regulatory reporting and transaction accounting for banks, insurers, asset managers and fintech firms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounting advisory engagements for banking, insurance and investment clients.
• Provide technical guidance on IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 17, 7, 10, 16) and local regulatory reporting requirements.
• Advise on complex financial transactions, system implementations and transformation programmes.
• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements and accounting policies.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with senior finance leaders.
• Drive business development activities including proposals, pitches and new client acquisition.
• Manage multiple project teams to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with global delivery teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach junior staff to build capability.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting or audit, primarily with financial services clients.
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, especially IFRS 9, 17, 7, 10 and 16.
• Previous experience at a Big 4 or leading consulting firm is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in client engagement, solution delivery and team leadership.
• Good understanding of GCC regulatory environment.
• Professional qualification such as SOPCA, CA, ACCA or CPA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; Arabic is a plus.
