Material Oversight Supervisor

About the role

The Material Oversight Supervisor is responsible for overseeing aircraft material supply and logistics operations, ensuring safe, compliant and reliable maintenance support. This role manages outsourced technical procurement and logistics services, aligning performance with contractual and GACA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end material flow for outsourced procurement and logistics, ensuring compliance with Technical Services Agreements, Material Annex, GMM and GACA regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate performance of principal MROs and external suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of aircraft parts according to service level agreements.
• Coordinate AOG and MEL material support with MCC, AMO Logistics and MRO AOG desks to minimise operational disruption.
• Work with freight forwarders, customs, and transport providers to ensure seamless material movement at main base and remote stations.
• Support long‑range planning and scheduled material requirements in partnership with Planning, MCC and Technical Services.
• Assist investigations of chronic component failures and contribute to MEL/NEF optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in aircraft materials management, logistics or related aviation support functions.
• Familiarity with GACA regulations and aviation maintenance procedures.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including MROs, suppliers and logistics partners.
