Materials Manager

About the role

Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is looking for an experienced Materials Manager to lead purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory control and cost management across the hotel. As a core member of the Finance and Operations team, you will ensure the efficient procurement of goods and services while upholding Hyatt’s quality standards and supporting operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all procurement and purchasing activities for hotel operations.
• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory control and distribution processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal quality, pricing and service levels.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits and ensure compliance with Hyatt policies and local regulations.
• Analyse purchasing trends, identify cost‑saving opportunities and coordinate with operational departments to meet business needs.
• Lead, coach and develop the Materials team to achieve departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Materials Management, Purchasing or Supply Chain, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced luxury hotel environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Experience using purchasing software.
