MEA Procurement Delivery Lead - Senior Manager

About the role

The Procurement Client Experience Lead (P+CXL) is a Senior Manager position based in Saudi Arabia who acts as a trusted advisor to internal clients, coordinating cross-functional teams and overseeing procurement delivery. The role covers the Middle East & Africa market unit and works closely with Corporate Services, Finance, Operations, Tax, Legal and other business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the internal client procurement experience and build trust, while identifying opportunities to improve procurement services.
• Oversee procurement delivery, manage performance and risk, and act as the primary escalation point.
• Lead procurement delivery and transformation initiatives aligned with local and global stakeholder expectations and commercial objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, supplier performance and risk, and embed client-facing best practices.
• Drive operational excellence and financial performance, including cost efficiencies and value realization.
• Enable the transition to Intelligent Operations and build an inclusive, high-performing team.
• Sourcing and category management: category profiling, demand management, sourcing strategy, RFx execution, strategic negotiation, contracting and risk management, and supplier performance.
• Purchasing operations: ensure purchase requests follow category strategy and policy, oversee supplier fulfilment accuracy and issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement.
• People management: lead direct reports, manage engagement, performance, succession planning and training, and optimise workforce planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing key internal or external client relationships with a strong track record of delivery satisfaction.
• Ability to drive commercial outcomes such as cost savings and value creation in complex service delivery environments.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of commercial models.
• Experience in matrixed, global organisations with shared services models.
• Recognised leadership in people development, team building and inclusive environments.
• 10+ years of operational and strategic experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier management.
