Mechanical Engineer - Asset Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management firm that acts as the Managing Agent for major government and public‑realm infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on the full lifecycle management of mechanical assets, ensuring technical compliance and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee mechanical assets across a diverse portfolio of government and public infrastructure projects.
• Conduct technical reviews of design packages, drawings, specifications and calculations at all project stages.
• Verify that designs meet Saudi regulations, international standards and client requirements.
• Support asset‑management planning, lifecycle analysis, maintenance strategies and long‑term performance monitoring.
• Review operation and maintenance documentation, asset registers and hand‑over deliverables.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, government stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Identify engineering risks and propose cost‑effective, practical solutions.
• Monitor compliance, quality and performance throughout design, construction and operational phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and asset management for infrastructure or public‑realm facilities.
• Proven experience reviewing HVAC, plumbing, fire‑protection and utility‑service designs.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi codes, international engineering standards and facilities‑management best practices.
• Excellent technical report writing and stakeholder communication skills.
