Mechanical Engineer – Design (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical Mechanical Engineer – Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturing feasibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering specifications.
• Conduct design analysis and simulations to evaluate performance, stress, and durability of components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and product teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost‑effective, and aligned with production capabilities.
• Perform material selection and analysis to optimize component performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• Document design modifications, maintain organized design files, and support prototyping and testing phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering fundamentals, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and quality requirements (ISO, ASME).
