Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Plant

About the role

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is establishing a state‑of‑the‑art copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City. As the plant moves toward commercial production, we need a Mechanical Engineer to design, commission, and maintain critical mechanical systems that keep the operation running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, and maintain mechanical systems such as piping, pumps, compressors, HVAC, and utility equipment across the plant.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of mechanical equipment for the copper rod production line.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for rotating and static equipment.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on mechanical failures and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during construction and equipment commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or other relevant industrial mechanical standards.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and engineering documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of rotating equipment, piping, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or other mechanical design tools.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
