Mechanical Engineer – Transmission Projects

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will play a pivotal role in delivering transmission line projects by overseeing mechanical systems, ensuring equipment integrity, and supporting on‑site operations with technical expertise. This full‑time, on‑site position requires hands‑on involvement in design review, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to guarantee durability, performance and safety of critical power infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site activities for transmission line projects, ensuring compliance with mechanical standards and project schedules.
• Conduct mechanical inspections, testing and commissioning of equipment and structural components.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to sustain long‑term reliability and efficiency.
• Provide technical engineering support for design, installation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Ensure adherence to local and international mechanical codes, safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve mechanical issues and improve system performance.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance actions, test results and site reports.
• Respond promptly to mechanical failures and implement effective corrective actions under pressure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical systems, equipment maintenance and site supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities focused on mechanical integrity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and safety protocols for transmission infrastructure.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict project timelines.
• Valid Saudi Resident ID and Saudi Driving License.
• Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers.
