Mechanical Inspector & Machinist, Electrical, Instrument & Vibration Specialist

About the role

Eram Talent, a talent acquisition consultancy in the oil and energy sector, is looking for highly skilled professionals to fill the roles of Mechanical Inspector and Machinist, Electrical, Instrument and Vibration Specialist. The selected candidate will help ensure the quality and reliability of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, carrying out inspections, assessments and vibration analysis to keep specialised equipment functional and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and assess mechanical systems to evaluate their integrity and quality
• Perform precision machining to ensure the quality of mechanical components
• Oversee electrical installations and equipment against safety and operational standards
• Manage instrumentation systems to meet project requirements
• Carry out vibration analysis on mechanical components and recommend solutions
• Work with project teams to uphold quality standards and safety practices
• Document inspection findings accurately and report on project developments
• Give technical guidance to team members on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems

Required profile

• 5 to 15 years of combined experience in mechanical inspection and machining, and in electrical, instrument or vibration specialties
• Proven experience in the oil and energy sector focused on inspection and maintenance
• Valid certifications such as API 510 for mechanical inspection, electrical safety and instrumentation
• Understanding of industry standards and regulations including API, ASME and ISO
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills and willingness to travel or relocate for project work in the region
