Mechanical QC Inspector

About the role

The Mechanical QC Inspector will ensure that all mechanical construction activities meet the required quality standards, specifications, and client expectations. You will work closely with the site team, construction managers, and customers to implement quality assurance plans and drive continuous improvement on the project.

Key responsibilities

• Study approved drawings, material/equipment approvals, technical specifications, and standards and apply them to the project.
• Draft, finalize, and maintain the Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) and the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) with associated checklists.
• Obtain customer approval for quality documents and coordinate their implementation across the site.
• Review and edit method statements in collaboration with Construction Managers and Site Engineers.
• Raise and track Inspection Requests (IR) for work, material, and equipment in line with contract requirements.
• Ensure subcontractor quality compliance, including documentation, approvals, and inspections.
• Coordinate site inspections, tests, and close‑out of comments with the project team.
• Maintain traceable quality records and documentation.
• Conduct orientation, training, and quality promotion activities as needed.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) for deviations and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 month of relevant experience in construction quality control.
• Familiarity with quality assurance plans, inspection and test plans, and non‑conformance management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
