Medical Advisor – Vaccines (Riyadh)

About the role

The Medical Advisor – Vaccines will lead the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy for vaccines in Saudi Arabia, focusing on scientific exchange and supporting clinical research.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country medical affairs plan.
• Translate global medical goals into local tactics and solutions.
• Build trust with the external scientific community through peer‑to‑peer exchange, research collaborations, and interactions with societies and health organisations.
• Provide balanced, non‑promotional scientific information in line with company standards and local regulations.
• Lead country Group Input Meetings and consolidate actionable medical insights.
• Design and deliver scientific educational activities positioning the company as a scientific partner.
• Support global and local clinical research, including identification of appropriate sites and investigators.
• Conduct medical training for Commercial, Access, Sales, and Regulatory functions.
• Provide access support (pre‑license patient access) as needed.
• Ensure timely adverse event reporting and assist the local Pharmacovigilance team.

Required profile

• Medical degree (physician) or pharmacy degree.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, preferably within the vaccines therapy area.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, networking and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage scientific leaders with high‑level scientific rapport.
• Strong scientific background and understanding of Medical Affairs.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
