Medical Advisor – Vaccines (Riyadh)

About the role

The Medical Advisor – Vaccines will lead the implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy for vaccines in Saudi Arabia. Working primarily on external scientific engagement, the role spends about 70% of time interacting with healthcare professionals, scientific societies and research partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the country medical affairs plan, translating global goals into local tactics.
• Build trust with the external scientific community through peer‑to‑peer exchange, research collaborations and educational activities.
• Provide balanced, non‑promotional scientific information in line with company standards and local regulations.
• Lead Group Input Meetings, consolidate medical insights and feed them into company strategy.
• Support clinical research by identifying suitable sites and investigators for global and local studies.
• Deliver medical training to Commercial, Access, Sales and Regulatory functions.
• Assist the Pharmacovigilance team with timely adverse event reporting.

Required profile

• Physician or pharmacist qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Medical Affairs.
• Experience in the vaccines therapeutic area is an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
