About the role

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership and oversight for all medical services within the hospital, ensuring safe, effective, and high‑quality patient care. This senior position works closely with physicians, department heads, and senior hospital leadership to drive clinical excellence and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise medical services to guarantee delivery of safe, effective, and high‑quality patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians, department heads, and executive leadership to support clinical excellence and operational efficiency.
• Monitor clinical quality indicators, patient‑safety initiatives, and physician performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Promote a culture of patient‑centered care, professional accountability, and adherence to ethical and clinical standards.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid professional SCFHS classification and registration.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, including leadership or management responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in hospital operations, clinical governance, quality improvement, and physician leadership is preferred.
