Medical Insurance Coordinator

About the role

The Medical Insurance Coordinator supports the Revenue Cycle Management team in delivering efficient medical administration services. This role bridges clinical staff, billing, claims processing, and insurance partners to ensure smooth contract handling and settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Revenue Cycle Management with medical administration tasks.
• Participate in drafting contractual agreements with clients.
• Provide medical support to approval, billing, and claims processing sections.
• Coordinate with medical staff on client contracts, requirements, and forms.
• Manage communication with insurance companies regarding rejections and replies.
• Reconcile final settlements with insurance providers.
• Implement departmental policies, local and international standards.
• Develop performance indicators, collect data, and analyse outcomes.
• Support hospital safety and risk management programs, report incidents, and contribute to root‑cause analysis.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Revenue Cycle Director.

Required profile

• Three years of postgraduate experience in medical practice.
• Two years of practical experience in medical administration.
• Basic Medical Degree licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health.
• Postgraduate Medical Degree.
