Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

The Medical Representative will drive sales growth and market penetration for our pharmaceutical products within an assigned territory. You will build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, promote product benefits, and secure new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers using a relationship‑based approach.
• Demonstrate product features and assist customers in selecting the most suitable solutions.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new accounts through research and outreach.
• Prepare clear written proposals and quotations for customers.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and coordinate with marketing, logistics, and technical service teams.
• Analyze territory potential and create customer value plans to maximize share and profitability.
• Provide regular oral and written reports on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Represent the company at conferences and conventions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Results‑oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Strong listening, persuasion, and self‑motivation.
• Effective time and territory management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Experience using contact management software.
